Hi I'm
Fiona Jolly
- Position: Operations Administrator
- Location: South West Scotland
I am an Operations Administrator based at Auchincruive, Ayrshire, where I work with a great team in delivering the Farm Advisory Service (FAS). My time at SRUC began in 2015, when I joined the SRUC library team after completing my Hons degree in History at the University of Strathclyde. During this time, I not only put my resourcefulness to good use but picked up some archiving and collection management skills, which I hope to develop further.
My day-to-day tasks with FAS involve supporting colleagues with programme delivery, publishing material and promoting what FAS have to offer through our social media channels. I am a very visual person and I have a strong interest in design work. I particularly enjoy working with Adobe programs to deliver the FAS advertorial in the Scottish Farmer and helping to create promotional material. I am also involved with maintaining the FAS website, and I enjoy discovering fun new ways to make our website more engaging.
Outside of work you will normally find me at live music events, getting stuck into a great fantasy novel or practising my origami skills!
I'm currently working on
- Organising FAS Technical Notes
- Improving the FAS website with a wider team
