Hazel Laughton

I have worked as a Senior Consultant within the Lanark office for over 10 years servicing over 100 clients. I provide advice on many practical and technical aspects of the industry including beef and sheep efficiency, business appraisals and financial planning and soil and nutrient management, as well as grant scheme applications and carbon audits. I also have a keen interest on data recording to improve livestock performance.

I facilitate farmer led groups throughout Lanarkshire and I am the animal health & welfare topic manager for the Farm Advisory Service where I am also project manager for several projects, including the highly successful Sustainable Sheep Systems series.

Outwith work I run the family beef and sheep farm with my husband, however I spend most of my spare time acting as a taxi for my two young children.
