Welcome to the 1st Tee

If golf is a force for good in the world - and we believe it is, then that should mean our places of play and work should be happy places.

So come along with us, Ian Christopher Butcher and Ben Matthews as we talk with some amazing people with compelling viewpoints from a wide range of roles in the golf industry. Our guests are the ones who aren't normally in the media spotlight, but are nevertheless responsible for bringing us the game we love so much.

Each episode of On the 1st Tee will bring together people passionate about golf to discuss the issues that matter to them as well as long-standing and newly-emerging career opportunities, lessons learnt, the future of golf, and the overall happiness that can be found working in this incredible industry.

Why "On the 1st Tee"?
For those that play golf, hearing the words "I'll see you on the 1st tee" immediately ignites an emotional uplift, a happy spark if you will, that is full of hope and joyful expectations of a good time ahead. It is that emotion that we want to share, whether you play golf or not, by coming together to share our own experiences of the game together with guests who exemplify that 'on the 1st tee' feeling.
