SRUC

If you need a hand, be assured that help is readily available.

At SRUC, we aim to provide a supportive service in an informal, flexible and, where appropriate, confidential way.

All students, whether you have (or suspect) a disability or not are encouraged to fill out our student support form. We will send it to the student support team at your campus who will use it to make sure you get any support you need.

SRUC is a Corporate Parent

Staff at SRUC are committed to supporting all students during their SRUC journey, which includes those under SRUC’s Corporate Parenting Umbrella.  These include care experienced students, student carers, estranged students, veterans, vulnerable adults, travellers, refugees, homeless students, and survivors of abuse.

SRUC will liaise with local authorities, social work, carers/guardians with a shared aim to make successful transitions to an independent learning, work, and life.

Each campus has a designated member of staff who acts as an impartial enabler of internal support and may provide guidance and arrange support during your period of study.  Contact information and relevant support is available to you on each campus.

Before you start your course, we would like to encourage you to tell us if you are in one of these categories. A member of support staff will contact you to discuss your individual needs, arrange transition and appropriate support.
