The Job:
The Community Gardener will supervise people on Community Payback Orders to work on the growing and maintenance garden plan, ensuring that it is an attractive and well-maintained garden all year round. By the very nature of this being a gardening role there will be physically demanding aspects i.e. digging, lifting and bending.

The Candidate:
You’ll be an experienced gardener with a genuine interest in people, gardening and working outdoors. You should also be:
- Experienced in seasonal garden planning and maintenance
- Excellent at building trusted relationships
- Confident leading and motivating others.
The Package:
- You’ll be part of an enthusiastic, knowledgeable staff team, with a supportive line manager who will help you develop and grow in your role. You will be encouraged to participate in any relevant training for continued personal development.
- You’ll also have access to wider Cyrenians support, including our learning and development programme, and staff wellbeing services.
- Our garden services are delivered 7 days a week so offer flexibility for the postholder while meeting service delivery needs.
