The Job:
Harbro are looking for individuals interested in establishing a long-term and rewarding career supporting farmers. We will support you to become a successful sales professional, focused on raising awareness of the Harbro brand, building long-term relationships with livestock farmers, and providing them with on-farm sales and technical support. We will provide industry-leading nutritional training and development with real opportunities to progress in a forward-thinking and expanding business. Training will be individually tailored to your interests and needs, and will include dairy production systems, animal health and welfare, dairy technology, feed and feed additives, nutrition and ration formulation, data collection and analysis, regulation, marketing, and sales. To be successful in this role, you need to be a customer-focused, driven and motivated individual with the hunger to learn and succeed in a sales career. The Candidate:
Essential:
- Background in livestock industries with hands-on experience of working with livestock
- Confident and outgoing nature
- Driven, pro-active and self-motivated individual
- Good interpersonal skills, in particular good verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to cope well under pressure
- Eager for self-development
- Resilient
- Academic qualifications in livestock science or related field.
Desired:
- Prior experience in agribusiness, ideally working with livestock.
