The Job:
An exciting opportunity for a young person to gain experience and training as an apprentice farmer. The role will be varied and give the right person experience with cattle, plus a few sheep. In addition, it will be an opportunity to learn all about the feed we produce on the farm for the livestock and how to operate the machinery to produce it and to feed the animals once they are in for winter. There may also be opportunities to undertake some contract work in the farming sector once the successful applicant shows their competence in handling machinery.

The Company:
Taylor is a farmer who has over 50 breeding cows, plus calves and store cattle on their own farm, which they are looking to further expand. Silage is produced on the farm and Taylor has all the necessary equipment to do this.
The Candidate:

I am looking for a keen, enthusiastic person to join the team. Someone who is not afraid to get their hands dirty and someone who has a genuine love of farming and all that this entails. This is not a job; it's a lifestyle. Experience with farming equipment is desired but not essential.
