The Job:
The post holder will work as the lead of the Park Ranger Service in delivering a comprehensive service in all Aberdeen Parks, to conserve, enhance and promote the appropriate use of the park by members of the public and other interest groups. To ensure the health and safety of users of the park and the enforcement of management regulations. To provide opportunities to learn about the outdoor environment.

The Candidate:
- Recognised further education qualification in Countryside Management, Rural Studies, Amenity Horticulture, Landscape Management or equivalent subject to National Certificate or equivalent qualification level.
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of people including school children.
- The willingness to use The Councils digital platforms in relation to HR (CoreHr).
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- The ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
- The ability to organise and prioritise workloads to deal with simultaneous demands
and to achieve deadlines. - The ability to work proactively and with limited direct supervision, while at the same
time recognising when matters need to be referred to the Line Manager.
