The Job:
Enthusiastic nurse required for a growing, modern, purpose-built referral practice located in Inverness.
Working alongside an experienced Veterinary Nursing Team within SVR, the candidate will be expected to maintain registration with Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, be familiar with the legislation affecting the Practice of Veterinary Medicine within the UK and with the ethics of Practice as outlined in the RCVS Guide to Professional Conduct.
The successful candidate will be involved in all disciplines and use their breadth of nursing skills. There will also be opportunity for enhanced responsibility in both clinical and non-clinical areas.

The Company:
Scottish Vet Referrals (SVR) is a dedicated veterinary referral centre located in the beautiful surroundings of the Inverness Campus.
We are the only independent referral practice in the North of Scotland, owned by the partners.
We currently provide cardiorespiratory, CT scanning, dermatology, eye testing, internal medicine and oncology, ophthalmology and orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery services; delivering dedicated expertise with state of the art specialist equipment in a custom-designed facility.
For the future, our desire is to augment our team with veterinary surgeons who are experts in other areas of veterinary medicine. The facility has been designed to accommodate this expansion in service and expertise.
The Candidate:
Candidates should be a minimum of one year qualified. Experience in referral practice is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

The Package:
- Full time (40 hours per week), part time considered
- Working hours between 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday
- Out of hours/weekend duties are infrequent and shared
- RCVS fees paid
- Generous CPD budget
- Salary commensurate with experience.
