The Job:
We are pleased to offer the position of a Student Gamekeeper in the beautiful surroundings of Strathconon Estate. This position will provide experience in best practices for deer management, nature conservation and sporting activities. Working with Highland ponies offers a valuable chance to acquire knowledge, contributing significantly to the estate management. You will be working as part of a team, so effective teamwork and communication skills are essential, while ensuring adherence to estate policies and standards.

The Candidate:
- Strong interest in gamekeeping, wildlife conservation, and land management.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and handle physical tasks efficiently.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with managers, clients, and other estate staff.
- A responsible and ethical approach to deer management and conservation practices.
- Some familiarity with machinery maintenance, estate infrastructure, and habitat monitoring (training can be provided).
- Ability and skills to work with highland ponies.
